A set of shootings and explosions hit Paris late on Friday, November 13th 2015.

Six coordinated attacks took place in Paris and Saint-Denis (north suburb, just outside Paris), starting at 9:20 pm, on Friday, November 13th 2015.

At least 129 people were killed in total, according to French police. 
Another 352 were injured, 99 of them seriously.The majority of victims died at the Bataclan concert hall.

8 attackers were killed, some of them after detonating bombs they were carrying. The Islamic State claimed its responsability for these attacks  on Saturday, November  14th 2015..
